After dinner and WAITING for it to get dark, we put on costumes and headed out to Trick-or-Treat. ALong the way we found our neighbors and some of their friends from school and so roamed in a pack for the rest of the neighborhood. Not many people come to our few houses, so they all give way too much candy.

SMS Halloween Party
Our annual school Halloween party was as wonderful as always. Braeden said he likes it better than the actual day of Halloween. Most of his friends come to the party and the same cannot be said of trick or treating!

Braeden's first swim meet
Braeden had his first swim meet today. It was really a practice swim meet, with only the Mako's participating. Next week he has his first meet against another team. He did great! He swam both freestyle and backstroke, 50 meters each. He won his backstroke event by quite a bit. We'll have times later I think.

Yarmouth
We took a walk over the marsh to enjoy the views and the life you can see every stop you make--fish eating a dead crab, a live crab burying itself, small fish, and even smaller fish, as well as beautiful salt marsh views. We could see all the way to Sandwich (we were in Yarmouth) because it was so clear.

Visit to the Farm
We all went to visit the farm. We tried to see the new baby alpaca, but couldn't see her. We did get to see the baby donkey, the other alpacas who came nice and close and even let us pet them, goats, chickens, and ducks. We got to pick some green beans and go for a hayride. Logan did not want to go on the hayride, but Raymond let him try out driving the tractor when we were done.
Riley and Logan visit
They even brought Lala and Meeps with them. They arrived late Friday night. Saturday morning we went to the Oktoberfest at Mashpee Commons.

The Budweiser Clydesdales are in town
We went to the Kmart parking lot to see the Clydesdales. They were magnificent, but it seemed odd to see them there. Our neighbor, Teagan's friend Grace was there also and the girls were thrilled to see the horses together.
Some information we learned about Budweiser Clydesdales:
-The full grown Clydesdale should stand 18 hands (about 6 feet) at the shoulder and weigh between 2,000 and 2,300 pounds.

-The ideal horse is bay in color has a blaze of white on its face, a black mane and tail.
