Our second day at Joe's pond was very busy and fun. We awoke to Joe's Pond morning beauty, took a quick kayak, went to the corn maze where we also saw the animals, played in the life size village, played a round of mini golf, grabbed sandwiches from Marty's, went back for another kayak, went tubing, played, had a show from Teagan, ate dinner, and collapsed into bed!

Early morning Joe's Pond.

Which way should we go in the corn maze? The
corn maze is 7 acres, over 2 miles of a maze in the corn. This year is Champ, Lake Champlain's sea monster, eating a boat. You don't know what the maze is until you get out. We all set off together, but after about 45 minutes and returning to the same beginning for the fourth time, Teagan asked to try the children's maze, a more guided version. She and I did great on that maze, got to see great views, play in the boat, and finish in time to enjoy some of their other attractions.

There are periodic punch points so you know when you are coming back to the same place.

The boat upon a sea of corn.

Jeff trying to get his bearings (it took them 2 1/2 hours to complete the maze).

Teagan on the boat.

Visiting with the goats after the maze.

In the kid size village-a stable (with tire horses), a store, a house, and a jail.

We played a round of mini golf with plastic balls, canes instead of putters, and some crazy holes.

The slingshot hole.

The baseball hole.

Tubing!

They loved it and kept wanting to go faster.

Mom joined the fun. My spectacular spill was not caught on camera, but will be remembered for a bit longer, at least by my left side!

Teagan put on a singing gymnastics show for us before dinner.
