Halloween night

The Bean family came over for some trick-or treating, Jeff and Johnny went visiting all of the houses with our cousin Angie while Nikki and I stayed in the warm indoors in case anyone came to our door. We all ended up at the Hempstead's where there was beer for the older trick or treaters.

Birthday Parties

Four birthday parties this weekend! We are managing to make all of them, but with a tweak here and there.

Saturday found us heading down to Chatham first for Emma's birthday party, then being one of the first to leave to rush off to Plymouth for Jillian's birthday party. Since Chatham and Plymouth are an hour from each other and there was only half and hour between presents, we warned Jillian's mom we would be late. Crossing the Sagamore took us an extra half hour because it is only one lane each way due to necessary bridge repairs! We still made it to Jillian's party to play for a bit and get some pizza.

Meanwhile, Braeden and Jeff headed over to the Sandwich Karate Kids to help Brain celebrate turning 8.

Today Teagan and I head over to Mashpee for Bella's party with Miss Lori!

Usually I like to really consider the gifts I get for the birthday child (everyone of these children is or has been in my class). Last weekend I took my coupon and carefully chose a Webkinz for each child! The kids made cards and we wrapped them all at once--I am learning when and where to focus my energies! In this case I needed to focus on actually getting there!
