Surprise, the tooth fairy is coming!

I took Braeden in to have some repair work done today and it became more than we expected. Last week our regular dental check up showed a cracked filling in one of Braeden's teeth. We made an appointment to have it fixed in March. The next night regular flossing pulled out what we thought was a piece of filling. By Monday the tooth was really bothering him, so we asked to come in Tuesday afternoon. It turned out that "filling" had been tooth he knocked loose! There were two things that could be done...a root canal and crown on this tooth he is expected to lose later this year, or pull the tooth. Braeden and I opted for the hole in his mouth.

He was very brave as always, even though it was painful. The hole is kind of cool and easier to deal with than the sore tooth!
