James' sculpture

Our friend James Yamada (Cheryl's next door neighbor growing up) has a sculpture on display at an entrance to Central Park in New York.  We made it a point to go see the sculpture when we were driving to Virginia.  Going into Manhattan is not the best way to get from Cape Cod to Reston, but how often do you get to go to Central Park to see the work of someone you know?  In my world it is not that often and I just think it is so great for him and such a neat sculpture.  There are lights which light up and make different patterns based on the amount of metal you have on your person.  The kids and I forgot this (Jeff stayed in the car and admired from afar since there was no place to park) and were very boring.  The best way for us to make patterns was to carry the camera, but no pictures of that!  You will have to go for yourself and see what kind of patterns you make.  It is at 5th Ave. and 60th St. until October 28.
